Generate Bath File (File Menu)

Use this command to create a new batch file that will be saved in the directory of the experimental files to be analyzed.

File Name and Folder of Batch File

Type or select a new batch file you want to create.

PUNIAS adds the extension you specify in the The Browse Type box.

The folder in which the batch file is saved must contain the experimental files you want to analyze.

After the batch file has been created it can be moved to another folder.

Name of Result File

Type the name of the result files that are created in the folder defined in File Name and Folder of Batch File and in which will be written the results of the analysis.

The extension .pic will be added to this file name.

Spring Constant of the Cantilever

Type the spring constant of the cantilever used to perform the experiments.

If the spring constant value is set to zero in the batch file, PUNIAS will show up a window asking the user if he wants to use the value of the spring constant saved in the experimental files or introduce manually a new value for the spring constant.

In the last case, the Cantilever Spring Constant window is shown up and if the introduced value is again zero, the Spring Constant window will be displayed until the spring constant value is set to a value different from zero.
